York Space Systems First to Deploy Second Layer of T1TL Transport System, Confirms Health of 21 Additional Satellites on Orbit Within Hours

The system was launched on July 16, from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA aboard a dedicated Falcon 9 in support of the Space Development Agency’s (SDA) Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Tranche 1 Transport Layer (T1TL) mission. With this deployment, York is the first T1TL performer to deploy their second plane for SDA, delivering 42 satellites on orbit.

Deploying and confirming the health of all satellites within hours of launch continues to demonstrate the scalability and reliability of York's space vehicle production and operations model, supporting U.S. Government efforts to ensure resilient, low-latency satellite communications are available to U.S. and allied warfighters. A global network of Atlas Space Operations ground stations and the company’s Freedom Ground Software are supporting the mission and early orbit checkout.
