Snowflake CoWork Powers the Agentic Enterprise as the Personal Agent for Knowledge Workers to Work Smarter

Snowflake CoWork Powers the Agentic Enterprise as the Personal Agent for Knowledge Workers to Work Smarter

The latest CoWork enhancements are designed to put more AI capabilities into the hands of knowledge workers grappling with fragmented data, tools, and workflows that don't understand the full context of their work. With new innovations including Artifacts2, Cortex Sense6, and personalization, CoWork unifies data, context, and AI into a single agent experience so that business teams can safely interact with AI to drive decisions and execution with confidence. At the same time, data teams can more easily unlock insights from data and train models at scale with the new Cortex Training4.

Over 13,900 customers already trust Snowflake with their most valuable data, and Snowflake brings AI directly to that data within a secure, governed environment. Snowflake gives customers the choice and flexibility to choose the AI models that best fit their business needs, with access to industry-leading models in Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowflake's suite of AI products, from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, and announced today, SpaceXAI's models. The result is AI that is not only powerful, but trusted at scale, giving organizations a control plane that helps them unlock meaningful business outcomes and lasting strategic advantage.

"The enterprises with real competitive advantage are the ones putting the full power of AI action in the hands of every single person in their organization," said Christian Kleinerman, EVP of Product, Snowflake. "CoWork gives every employee a personal agent to work smarter across their business data and tools, so they can get insights, take action, and collaborate in one place, all within a secure, governed environment they trust. This is the future we're building, where AI doesn't just surface insights, but becomes the control plane that connects data, context, and enterprise systems to drive action across the business."

Turning Enterprise Insight Into Action with Snowflake CoWork

To deliver highly personalized AI experiences, CoWork builds a shared understanding of enterprise data that maps enterprise-wide business context with each user's role to deliver tailored insights and actions. This includes turning everyday tasks into automated workflows with User Skills4, and connecting directly to enterprise tools such as Google Drive, Salesforce, and Slack with Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors1, so teams can move from idea to action instantly across all of the systems they use. These MCP capabilities build on Snowflake's recently announced intent to acquire Natoma, whose enterprise MCP platform will help provide secure connectivity, governance, identity-aware authorization, and auditability for AI agents operating across enterprise systems and tools.

For complex questions that require deeper analysis, Deep Research2 comprehensively searches across all of a company's structured and unstructured data using multi-step reasoning and analysis. Unlike consumer AI assistants or research tools, it operates within an organization's governed data environment, exploring documents and business information to deliver fully cited, actionable insights that explain the critical "why" behind the numbers. Powered by the agent swarm orchestration system built by Snowflake's AI Research Team, Deep Research delivers state-of-the-art performance across structured and unstructured enterprise data, outperforming single-agent systems by over a third on Snowflake's Hybrid Deep Research Benchmark.

Thousands of Snowflake customers are already using CoWork to accelerate work and decision-making, including Synopsys, Whoop, and Under Armour. Building on this momentum, CoWork is expanding with new capabilities that move beyond reactive question-and-answer experiences toward proactive, context-aware intelligence that drives decisions and execution:

    • Creating a shared reality for enterprise agents: Snowflake is introducing Cortex Sense, a new capability that automatically brings together the data, business definitions, and operational knowledge that AI agents need to be trustworthy and useful. Cortex Sense works for both CoWork and Snowflake CoCo, the coding agent where you build faster, to unify that information into a shared context layer that agents can use immediately — delivering stronger performance out-of-the-box compared to agents operating without it. Cortex Sense also comes with a series of prebuilt plugins tailored for various users' roles and functions like finance and sales. These plugins combine skills, business logic, and MCP connectors to help enterprises quickly and easily deploy production-ready agents that are grounded in operational knowledge from day one. By eliminating manual setup and reducing the need to recreate business context for every new agent, Cortex Sense helps teams move from concept to production in days instead of weeks.
    • Turning intelligence into proactive, personalized action: CoWork helps organizations move faster by using multi-agent orchestration to break down complex requests and coordinate specialized AI agents behind the scenes, without requiring users to select or manage them. Teams can automate their unique workflows with User Skills and leverage the new Skill Catalog2 to easily discover, share, and reuse them, enabling AI to more effectively support day-to-day tasks while scaling proven solutions and productivity gains across the organization. CoWork now continuously learns from individuals' behavior with User Memory4, allowing users to schedule tasks and get timely actions and recommendations tailored to their role through the tools they already rely on like Gmail or Slack. To extend personalized AI experiences wherever work happens, the new CoWork iOS mobile app2 allows knowledge workers to take action on their data from anywhere, as well as through Slack with CoWork Slackbot6 and a new Microsoft Excel Extension6.
    • Moving from dashboards to decisions: Artifacts now include publishable dashboards4 with governed views of live, trusted data that knowledge workers can explore through conversation, not just clicks. Analysts can create and publish rich dashboards for knowledge workers to interact with in CoWork using natural language, reducing back-and-forth and accelerating decision-making. Teams can save, share, and collaborate on Artifacts, turning insights into reusable knowledge embedded in daily workflows, all with governance and access policies built in from the start.

Together, these innovations mark a new era for enterprise AI that moves beyond answering questions to actually getting work done. CoWork is now the system of action for the modern enterprise, connecting every insight to the people and workflows that move the business forward.

"Snowflake has become the foundation for how our teams access, understand, and act on data across the business. We've built more than 20 purpose-built agents for teams spanning revenue operations, legal, finance, product management, and IT, and every one of them connects back to Snowflake because that's where our data, governance, and business context live," said Ramji Jagannathan, VP of Enterprise Digital Platforms at Synopsys. "With Snowflake CoWork and Cortex Agents, leaders no longer have to rely on siloed portals or navigate disconnected tools to get answers. They can ask questions in natural language, directly from their browser or Microsoft Teams, and get trusted insights grounded in real enterprise data. What started as a digital transformation initiative has evolved into a fundamentally new way of working for Synopsys, and we're continuing to discover new use cases across the organization."

"With Snowflake CoWork, we've reimagined how our teams interact with data. What used to require specialized analysts and manual requests is now accessible to hundreds of employees in real time," said Matt Luizzi, VP of Analytics, WHOOP. "By automating routine queries and giving every team direct, trusted access to insights, we've reduced operational friction and enabled our data teams to focus on higher-impact work. The result is faster decisions, more efficient operations, and a scalable foundation for the next generation of AI at WHOOP."

Better, Cheaper, and Faster AI Models with Cortex Training

Snowflake is also introducing Cortex Training, extending Cortex AI to help organizations customize and train foundation models more easily with fully managed GPUs. Cortex Training enables enterprises to customize open-weight foundation models such as the Qwen or Mistral family of models to their own domain, data, and cost requirements without scrambling for scarce GPU capacity or worrying about high cost of GPU ownership due to low utilization. With Cortex Training, customers can train models where their data already lives, without managing distributed infrastructure or moving sensitive data to external environments, while completing up to two times more training runs for the same GPU budget based on initial customer assessments. This creates a significant opportunity for enterprise users to cost-effectively improve the accuracy and latency of their AI solutions at scale, while maintaining unified governance.

Resolve AI, the AI for running and operating software in production, made a multi-million-dollar commitment over two years to use Cortex Training to build domain-specific models through reinforcement learning (RL) on proprietary training data. Resolve AI uses Cortex Training to consolidate model training inside a secure, governed environment, accelerating work that previously required stitching together infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Resolve AI offers domain-specific AI agents for production, built on multi-agent harnesses, simulated environments, and evaluation workflows. As AI models are further refined using RL, teams need infrastructure that can handle the heavy GPU-intensive parts of training and inference, without forcing them to give up control of their data or environments. Resolve AI provides this balance with scalable compute abstraction for performance, while keeping customers fully in control of their systems, data, and deployment environments. Cortex Training provides Resolve AI with governed infrastructure to run RL training workloads continuously, building and improving models that outperform general-purpose alternatives on the reasoning tasks that matter most to enterprise engineering teams in production. Snowflake is also a Resolve AI customer, with Snowflake engineering teams incorporating Resolve AI into their existing agentic workflows to run and manage production systems at scale. This, in turn, provides enterprises with faster, more reliable AI experiences.

"General-purpose API models will continue to improve, but there is a limit to how far you can get when building on top of them. Production operations for running and managing complex software systems have specific failure modes, reasoning patterns, and the highest bar for accuracy," said Spiros Xanthos, Founder and CEO, Resolve AI. "We are overcoming these limitations with purpose-built training infrastructure, simulated large-scale environments, and evaluations based on real operational workflows. Cortex Training is a core part of how we scale these research priorities at Resolve AI."

By bringing training closer to governed enterprise data, Snowflake offers teams a simpler path from experimentation to production. This helps them move from expensive frontier API calls to purpose-built models that deliver better accuracy at a fraction of the cost, all on the same governed platform they already use for data and operations.

What If the Best Way to Protect Data Was to Delete It First?

Issued on behalf of Integrated Quantum TechnologiesVANCOUVER, BC, June 3, 2026 /CNW/ -- Equity-Insider.com News Commentary — Every few years, a security idea comes along that inverts the usual logic. For decades, the strategy for protecting sensitive data has been to build higher walls around it — stronger encryption, tighter access controls, better monitoring. But attackers keep finding ways over, under, and through the walls, and the explosion of artificial intelligence has made the problem worse by pouring more sensitive data into more systems than ever before. So a handful of companies have started asking a different question: what if you simply removed the sensitive data from the equati
