Pursuant to Rule 425 of the Securities Act of 1933

Subject Company: Berry Global Group, Inc.

    Commission File No.: 333-284248

Explanatory Note: The following communication was sent to employees by Amcor plc on April 25, 2025.

SUBJECT/// Final milestone reached — begin countdown to completion!
TO/// All colleagues (All Co-workers (DG) [email protected])
    FROM/// Peter Konieczny Communications
    DISTRIBUTION/// April 25, 2025

    Team,

Today, we received antitrust approval from the European Commission, which marks the final regulatory milestone needed for our combination with Berry Global. This is very exciting news and means we are aiming to become one combined organization as of April 30!

Successfully completing all regulatory clearances in such a relatively short period is testament to both the great work of our team and to how complementary Amcor and Berry are. The future company will be in a great position to succeed – serving customers better, growing faster and making a positive impact in ways we never could before.

Although we will still be operating as two separate companies until the transaction closes, the beginning of our new journey is within reach.

    Let’s make it happen!

    Peter Konieczny

    CEO
